Fueled & Aflame Dance Company began during the summer of 2000. The dancers God brought to us were both highly experienced in the dance world and filled with a desire to worship God with dance. We have had the priveledge of teaching worshippers how to dance and dancers how to worship. It is our passion to develop the blending of both the technical ability and a heart for worship in our dancers. 

Fueled & Aflame Dance Company has participated in many community events and local church celebrations in the Detroit metropolitan area. In 2004, the company held it's first full-length dance production titled "Fire from Heaven". Many people responded with a commitment to renew their relationship to Christ and many discovered a depth in worship that they had never known. In 2005, the company expanded it's reach and traveled East to participate in Project Dance New York where they had the opportunity to share excerpts from Fire from Heaven in Times Square. 

In 2005, Company Director Carla Crowe and her husband Allyn started a family and moved to Southwest Ohio. The company was placed on hold indefinitely. During our five years in Michigan, God laid a foundation for our ministry that would serve us for years to come. We have been patiently waiting for God to open a window for us to begin again. In the Spring of 2010 - God delivered the message that it was time to REIGNITE! We are so excited for the journey that lay ahead of us and sharing what we have learned over the last 10 years with our new community!

Fueled & Aflame Dance Company is a project-based organization. We seek out new dancers both during our annual audition and throughout the year as the company takes on new outreach and performance projects. Dancers interested in performing with Fueled & Aflame Dance Company must be at and advanced level in their dance technique, have a heart for sharing the love of God through dance, and be at least 16 years of age. Dancers under the age of 18 aspiring to dance with the company should be actively involved in Fueled & Aflame Dance Studio, enrolling in a minimum of two classes (preferably CWDIII and Repertoire).
