When:

Our Company Class and Beginner Worship Dance Classes will resume when the company returns from its sabbatical. Please check our website in January 2006 for more information. If you are interested in our classes please email us so we can add you to our mailing list. Classes fill up fast - be the first to know when we begin again!

Cost:

$10 for drop-ins

Registration for a 3 month Session:

$75 for a three month session (SAVE $25)

$65 for registering as an additional family member (SAVE $35)

First family member registers at winter session price, additional family members receive reduced price.

Class Description:

A dance class focused on combining technique and worship; based in the dance genres of modern, ballet, and lyrical jazz. We start off with a modern warm-up and then proceed to learning technique. The class finishes by learning repertoire material and exploring freedom in worship through prayer dancing. Our goal is to teach dancers how to worship and worshipers how to dance.

Dress Code:

Please wear modest dance attire in which you can move freely. We suggest leotard and tights. You may wear jazz/yoga pants, shorts, ballet skirt, and form fitting tops if desired. Please remove any warm-up pieces (sweatshirts, leg warmers, etc.) after the first 15 minutes of class. Please avoid excessively bulky attire as that will make it difficult for the teachers to correct your alignment. For feet we recommend bare feet, modern sandals, or half-socks. You may want to have a pair of canvas ballet shoes on hand in case we do a ballet barre.
